Chef Peter Vogelnik started making dumplings at Kofce Mountain Hostel. At first hikers were offered the most traditional of dumplings, but soon the recipes became increasingly elaborate, and more than 60 different, modern flavours of dumpling were created.
Culinary selection
At Moji Štruklji Deteljica you can choose from more than 20 types of tradtional Slovenian and modern dumplings from different types of dough, with creamy or classic fillings and toppings, each one guaranteed to delight the palate. Among the tastiest dumplings you can find:
- dumpling with four types of cholocate,
- pistachio dumpling,
- gibanica dumpling and
- yogurt dumpling with mango.
In addition to dumplings you can also find various meals and stews made from home-produced local ingredients.

- indoors: up to 24 persons (4 tables for 4-6 persons)
Good to know
You can buy dumplings to take home. All flavours on the daily menu are available, and you can choose to buy a half or a whole "loaf" of dumpling.
The dumplings have already been steam-cooked so all you need to do before enjoying them is heat them up. It's best to steam them for about 10 minutes. They can keep in the refrigerator for a week, and you can also freeze them.

- Monday - Saturday: 8 am to 8 pm
- Sunday and holidays: 10 am to 5 pm.
